Jaime Ogle

I majored in Graphic Design at Brigham Young University. I interned for Gold Coast Skate shop as a designer and shadowed the head of production, Brock Harris, my senior year of college. Later, I interned with Boostability, a tech company that does SEO for small businesses around the world. It ended when my son Jameson joined our family. Since then I have continued to grow my portfolio and have worked on several projects with local companies including Tumble Tek, The Hipster Engineer, and Dunn Associates to name a few.

While in school I balanced a part time job, my busy design class schedule along with the cheerleading program for BYU. This includes 7:00 AM practices, women’s and men’s sporting events and appearances. This busy schedule taught me a lot about time management and personal scheduling in order to finish projects before deadlines and showing up to everything I was required to be at. Being a member of the cheer squad also taught me how to perform with a team and when to be a follower versus a leader.

My creative approach—no matter the medium—is to find truth and and value with every idea I’ve been assigned or am interested in without loosing passion and excitement in doing so. The goal is to cover every aspect of a project and refine the idea that is the most powerful and speaks the most truth. I love solving problems and for me, design is the best way to solve the visual problems we see everywhere.
